Being Bilingual can Prevent Dementia

In this 29 min. video interview with Dr. Stephen Krashen, we learn one connection between dementia and language acquisition.

According to Dr. Krashen, there are three ways to prevent dementia:

1) Read for pleasure.

2) Learn another language.  Be BILINGUAL.

3) Drink coffee.

He also speaks on education and the real problem at schools (hint: it’s not teachers…it’s poverty).
