Core Fluency Spanish 2011 – 2012
In celebration of the successful 2011 – 2012 school year of Spanish classes in Denver, we made a video to remember the good times! Check out the variety of learning activities: reading, writing, dictation, role-playing, story-creation, charades, and partner and group conversation. In addition to the Classroom Sessions, we had the Practicum Sessions, which included conversation and cultural immersion at restaurants and Spanish cooking lessons and dining activities in student homes!
The classes were filled with laughter, fun, personal empowerment, and non-threatening risk-taking. All students increased their confidence, communication skills and fluency, and their level of proficiency in Spanish! By the end of the year, students were actually telling jokes in Spanish and reportedly dreaming in Spanish!!!
