You’ll see how students acquired Spanish by: reading, writing, dictation, role-playing, story-creation, charades, partner and group conversations, and lots of FUN! In addition, we explored cultural immersion at restaurants and private Spanish cooking lessons and dining activities in student homes!
Core Fluency classes were filled with laughter, fun, personal empowerment, and non-threatening risk-taking. All students increased their confidence, communication skills and fluency, and their level of proficiency in Spanish! By the end of the year, students were actually telling jokes in Spanish and reportedly dreaming in Spanish!!!
